It fires quickly and is a pleasure to fire. All Cress kilns feature durable fire brick, heavy gauge long lasting elements, a Dawson kiln sitter, safety limit timer, locking steel lid brace, and two position lid brace. The kiln also comes with a Firemate automatic firing control that reduces heat-shock in the firing cycle. Also included are a steel kiln stand, steel safety bottom plate and oversized handles for easy moving. This model is 115 volts, 15 amps, and fires to cone 10 (2350 degrees F.).
